here is what they have to do.. NO TREATS, NO MERCY....
decide what she is going to eat and stick to it.. (i.e. kibble)
At mealtime, she goes into a crate with her food. If she hasn't eaten within
a predetermined amount of time (e.g. 15 minutes) the food comes out, and so
does she.. going to bed with no supper..NO TREATS,NO MERCY. The next meal is
the same...she will start to eat at some point when she figures out there
isn't anything else coming...
I had a bitch actually go 5 days without eating, but at that last meal she
looked in her dish, looked at me and I saw it in here eyes "you aren't
caving, are you??" she ate and never looked back, never missed another full
meal.
A healthy animal will never starve itself to death. The trick is being of a
stronger will than the dog..(for many, this is extremely difficult to
accomplish) they KNOW how to play humans.. as long as they keep trying to
please her to get her to eat something, anything she will continue to be in
control of the situation..
I promise you, this will WORK.
