You need some 'neets foot oil' purchased at any horse tack shop. Apply with a
sponge, let it soak in and dry. Then, using a bar of saddle soap, sponge and
warm water, give it a once over and let it dry. Voila! Pitch the fur saver,
it's a goner.

I know someone out there can help me. I inadvertently dropped a GOOD
leather leash
outside a few weeks ago. With all of the RAIN and MORE RAIN we are
having, the leash
is hard from having soaked in water. How can I restore it?
Also, I had a fur-saver collar attached to the leash. It appears to
have a layer of rust on it,
but I can scrap with my fingernail down to the shiny finish. Is it
worth saving?
