[ SHOWGSD-L ] Gulf Coast Rescue Needs our HELP!!

Good Evening ALL,
Just talked to Barbie Balyeat (we talk at least two times daily now <G>)
Anyhow, her rescue group which consists of 6 GSD's 1 Lab Calhula mix & 1 Mal.
are in desperate need of BOOTS for the dogs! They have been searching in Pass
Christian the last few days & this is really hard for this team as they have
many friends & family located in this VERY hard hit area!!
Barbie hates to ask but when the dogs are needing medical attention
constantly because of the lack there of (Boot's) it's time to ask for some
HELP!!!!!!
Stevie (Barbie's GSD) had to be pulled today after a week of work cause he
finally cut his boots beyond repair. Had it not been for his boots you dont
want to
know what his paws would be looking like now!!!!!!!!!!! The stories from
Barbie of the condition of some of the paws of these dogs is heartbreaking!
abscess, stitches possibly loosing toenails due to the cuts & infection setting
in.
Most of this can be avoided if these dogs had BOOTS to wear! Stevie's pair
lasted through 3 fires & 5 days of rubble before they got cut off of him by the
RUBBLE!
Now for the info on the BOOTS they can be purchased through KV Vet Supply
(That's who Barbie orders from) They are called RUFF WEAR & they need LARGE in
RED (team colors are RED & BLACK) they have 8 dogs in need the only dog that
wears something other then LARGE is the MAL who will need a MEDIUM.
The Gulf Coast Search & Rescue Team is a Nonprofit Organization so folks this
IS a Tax Deductible Donation.
The Team needs these BOOTS ASAP!!!!!!!!!! From what Barbie has learned they
can be shipped US MAIL directly to Barbie (the mail is delivering mail again
:)!!) But if we can get these BOOTS shipped to her next day or two day mail
this

the dogs is a Landaleigh's dog (Yahoo another Am Bred Working Hero!!!!! The
owner says he is from the "X" litter this boy is nine years young) Joyce Quick <
G> if your reading this what's the breeding on this guy?? Is he a repeat of
Quedo & Villany? This team is working hard & helping a great deal!! They are
really appriciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
