I was going to say the same......I had a male who was still growing at 3, he
topped at 28", but was very proportional. Not a show dog (he hated showing)
just one of our most beloved pets, Mr Rigger.
Why is this vet worrying these people about the dogs size? Is that the only
thing he has a concern over?
Is the dog neutered? If so, was he neutered as a very young pup? Has the
dogs blood tested ok? Has he all his teeth? Both testes? Good skin? Good
organs function? Any allergies? Those are areas of concern. Maybe this vet
doesn't know what normal size is for a GSD. Maybe they need a new vet. <G>
