Sorry, I disagree.
In BOB, the winner is determined to be the best example of the GSD present that
day.
In Group and BIS, the dog is judged by the "Breed Standard".....if the judge
thinks
the GSD is a fine example it can win the Group. However, if the representative
to the
Group is only the Best of a mediocre entry, it probably won't even get pulled
in Group.
If an animal can repeatedly win Groups and BIS, they must have something going
for them.

The parade of greats is a function of the GSDCA and is limited in every way to
GSDs.
Group wins and BIS have absolutely no relevance to GSDs other than they had to
win
BOB to get there. �I am not degenerating the group and BIS wins. �They are a
super
achievement, just not a part of GSDs. �GCH is strictly about GSDs.

Sam Colvin is in charge of the Parade of Greats and I just sent her a�
message suggesting she add BIS at AKC all breed shows and GCH to the list of�
dogs eligible to be shown in the Parade of Greats.� Might need a minimum�
number of BIS wins.� She needs to present it to the Board for� approval.� There
may be other changes/updates which should be made to the� requirements.
