As most of you know, I introduced a nine year old lady to the sport. She
went to the national and made so many great new friends. She found a couple
of people that took a negative attitude, but she smiled at them and
listened. Then she asked me about them. Summer is a glass half full kind of
person, and I am delighted to introduce her to what I consider the greatest
group
of people I have ever met.
I go to the Magician's conventions, the lawyer conventions and the GSDCA
National Specialty. I will take dog people every time.
I have met good people in this breed. Very good people. I have also
dealt with some absolutely ROTTEN people. There are people that like me, and
people that hate me, and that's just fine. I've got my Shepherds, and LOVE
my Shepherds.
When someone can express themselves as well as Jackie does, we have to
like her. If anyone does hate her, that is their mistake, and their loss. She
is the future of our breed, and with her ability to write posts as she
does, I find the future looks good.
I do join Summer in the half full thing. But, that is just me. What you
get from showing German shepherds is what you put into it. No one can take
that away from you. If you want to see what a new person can get from the
breed, talk to Summer. If you can talk to her and not grin, there is
little hope for you and you should start to raise rabbits.
