I remember a great one too, one that still tugs at my heart-stings. I had the pleasure to own BIS Select Champion Plainbrownwrapper v Jada-Edan, aka "Punky." She was #3 All Systems in 1995 and was #1 in 1996, until we retired her in March. This was all with limited showing, not flying all over the country with her. AND SHE WAS SABLE. She was handled to perfection by the unforgettable Henry Dancosse. That bitch could do it in BOTH rings, which, I feel is the way any GREAT dog should be. She took 3 majors in both venues. She took an award of excellence at Westminster, losing the Breed to the great Jamaica: Westminster (that year) was dubbed the battle of the West (Jamaica) vs. the East (Punky.) I was there--it was exciting to watch! Thanks for letting me brag: Punky WAS a great one.
