What a weekend in Indy! First of all the weather was nothing short of
spectacular. I don't think I saw one cloud the entire 3 days I was there and
temps in the 60's. Many of us did get quite a sunburn though. The GSDC of
Central Indiana put on a great weekend at a great show site. Special thanks to
Kelly Broadus for doing what she always does - work hard for her club, the
exhibitors, handlers etc. She's the best!
We took our sister act to Indy this weekend and they did not disappoint. First
"Ke$ha" Windfall's Blah Blah Blah v Chablis showed in the Futurity on Friday
under John Bemont. This was the only day she was entered this weekend and she
cut loose...winning a nice Intermediate Bitch class and then on to Best Opp
Futurity! Thank you again to Liz Oster for turning our wild child into a
star. And to Ke$ha's original believe Liana New - thank you for your help,
encouragement, and your Corona. <vbg> I co-own Ke$ha with Bob Witlicki and
although he couldn't be there to watch, he was and is on cloud nine. And it
was a great birthday present for him. Ke$ha is sired by Am/Can Sel Ex Ch
Woodside's High Voltage "Diesel", out of my Ch Joelle's Golddigger of Jeseffan
ROM "Taylor". Breeders - Jeff Pyle, Bart & Cindy Bartley, Tina Bogdanich.
After Ke$ha's big day, her sister "Selena" Windfall's Who Says v Chablis showed
Sat & Sun. Selena won very nice 12-18 classes both Sat & Sun under Bob
Drescher and Kathy Casteel and on Sun was also awarded a 4 pt major reserve!
Selana is owned by Bonnie Money, Tiffany Bartley, & myself.
The weekend was filled with so many wonderful moments and I want to
congratulate some dear people... Dawn VanDyken who finished her Zelda on Sat.
So great! And so happy for Jeff Vander kooi who started her and finished her!
Angie King - who's male won BOS Maturity on Friday. And Judy DeRousse for her
nice Best of Breed win on Sat. Bartleys, Kightleys, Chris Kimmerer, Carole
Michael, Brenda Stalter, I could go on and on..but I will let them post their
own brags. :) It's great to go to a big weekend and witness so many wonderful
people enjoy their dogs and success...and each other. Congratst again to
everyone on a stellar weekend.
