I gave my Veteran the Grand Champion points. I had asked the question of
the AKC, and they said if the Veteran was not a champion, they would just
reject the points. I told them that seemed a waste, but they claimed they
hadn't thought of that.
When I judged I did recognize my Veteran as a Select Excellent dog, so I
had no problem.
