That is not correct. They could be entered in the classes, finish and be
moved up to BOB and qualify for the GRCH points. In a case like this they
would not be a Champion at the time entries close. Been there, done that at
some shows I judged.

I only repeat what the AKC told me. If they are mistaken, don't blame
me.
It sure can be confusing when it comes to Grand Champion points. But, we
shouldn't just give them because we can, but only when we should.
And if I am not mistaken Harley has the second level and was the first
male
German shepherd to get a Grand Championship. What a great record he
has.
