[ SHOWGSD-L ] Grand Champion

According to my records and subject to AKC confirmation, Harley is now a Grand
Champion.
A few people at the show today said that they think he may be the first GSD to
achieve the title. If anyone knows of another GSD to have attained the title
as of 6/12/10, please let me know.
Thanks to Helen Gleason, Michele Chaloux, and Diane Silver-Strasser for
Harley's three majors, and to Beverly Capstick, Prof. Douglas C. Taylor,
William G. Daugherty, Cathy H. Daugherty, Harriett W. Campbell, Alice Inman,
Helen Lee James, Minna-Liisa Koltes, and Don Willett, Jr., for the other 13
minor points.
Thanks to Harley's co-owners, the Sedgewick's and the Ginsburg's, for their
support.
And, very special thanks to Harley's handler/agent, JR Alcantara, for his
skill, strategy, and belief in this very special dog. This is quite a ride we
are on, eh?
