But please you must understand also that some people on the List don't have
English as there mother tongue. This list is friendly enough that I feel
confortable to write on the list even if I know that I make grammatical
errors and mispelling. My computer is French and doesn't do spellcheck. I
speak and live only in French. My mother tongue is French. I lerned English
at high school and at dog shows ( and in reading the GSD Review). I speak
English maybe once or twice a month ans most of the time it's at dog show...
People must be tolerant and I hope my credibility is still there even with
grammatical errors and mispelling in my posts.

I know what you mean. There is no easier way to blow one's credibility than
by replying (in writing) with a post filled with spelling and usage
mistakes. It makes the writer look foolish and/or ignorant. (I know that I
hate it when I make a typo!) There is spellcheck but even that won't help
homonym mistakes (ie there, they're and their.) I guess that makes me
snobbish too.

unfortunate that the one with the most errors comes from a GSD fancier.
It's bad enough that we put up with that stuff on the list
constantly...but to have it in a public venue makes us all look
ignorant. Yes, my snobbery is showing...but why is it that the replies
from others are not full of errors... what kind of grammar is "I am
disapoint in..." Don't people pay attention to what they are writing?
Guess not...
