Yesterday we sadly had to say goodbye to our beloved Jerry, aka: GCH
Woodside's CK Jericho Stoneway, RN, CGC, BN, TDI, OFA H&E. Jerry was a
beautiful, handsome show dog who retired many years ago as a GCH. He was a
dog that loved everyone and especially enjoyed weekly therapy visits at a
local hospital bringing comfort to patients, family members and especially
to the hospital staff who looked forward to his visits.
In December 2015 we decided to enter him, for fun, as a 9 1/2 year old
veteran in our local show. He rose to the occasion showing better and better
as the judge kept making all the specials go around. The "old man" showed
everyone how it's done and was rewarded with BOB. We are most grateful to
see many of his progeny around including several champions and GCH's.
Jerry you have all touched us in so many ways... We miss you, you big
huggable boy and your kind disposition.
Thank you Sandy Anderson, his breeder, for putting up a Facebook post on
Jerry and thank you to the more than 200 people who responded, for your kind
words. We appreciate it very much.
