It is with a big lump in our throats that yesterday we helped Brazos cross
over the rainbow bridge at age of 11yrs 5 months. Brazos was the first
Shepherd we owned as a house dog and AM/CAN Champion. We fell in love with
him the very first moment we saw him.
He did everything we ever asked of him: Multiple BISS, Obedience title,
Rally Title and Certified Therapy Dog. During this past year he was
instrumental in bringing brightness into the lives of people at the Heart
Hospital, with his enthusiastic weekly visits. All patients loved him and
the nurses adored him.
He has sired multiple AKC champions, dogs that work in police departments,
service dogs that detect specific illnesses in people, dogs that have
excelled in the performance rings, and especially his daughter, Jillie, who
is a Grand Champion while holding RAE and CD titles. We will miss his
beautiful black head and intelligent black eyes, who to the end were so full
of life. Brazos, you were one of a kind, a magnificent noble lovable dog...
We miss you terribly...
