OMG!!!!!!!!! Never had that problem for sure...........they just go ahead and
eat.................Mo
Yeah, I got that, but with mine it wouldn't stay there <G>. Don't yours snort
and sneeze and get the Vicks all over? Mine would <G>. Then they'd roll on the
floor wiping their face with their paws, rub their heads on the furniture and
make a big project out of it. Then their nose would run (clear, but still!) and
it would all start over again.
Believe me about the big project! When dad visits he lets Beau "share" his
nightcap. The other night, I ate in the family room and had a little dipping
sauce (chipotle-mango) for the chicken. Beau delicately tried a sample.
Sneeze, snort, sneeze, roll over, wipe head on the floor, sneeze some more.
What a clown! It wasn't even that hot!!! (Beau makes me laugh every day, bless
his heart!)
Vicks used to be a staple w/ the horses. We'd use it when shipping boys w/
girls and we'd also use it pre-race to clear out their airway. What a mess.
Snort, sneeze, stand back! (The Ambesol is a liquid and it dries right away;
no mess. I think it was 100 years ago...feels like it this morning
anyway...that I learned about it from an instructor when I took a very amorous
boy to an all breed handling class. When he was shown I kept it in my van for
just that purpose!)
But, hey, whatever works. I just know my guys though and they'd make a big
honkin' mess with Vicks. Then when they were quite finished, the Vicks would
be gone and we'd be back to same problem <G>.
