Paul,
I like you. ?I always have, very much.? Nothing in doggie politics or anything
else has, or would, change that.? However, I find you quitting the List to come
at an interesting time.?? The National has brought some closure to some, not
all, issues.?? Some peace has been restored and the topics mainly being
discussed on the List, I think, are relavent, intelligent topics.? Of course,
there are some exceptions to that, but mostly there is a sense of calming.? I
can only take you quitting the List as some kind of political statement or you
feeling you have to choose sides.?? I am sorry if you feel that way and
personally wish you would reconsider.??
This List is not(and should not be)?about choosing sides, picking who we
support for anything.?It is about our common love for the breed and everything
related.? Things have certainly gotten heated and some decisions unfortunate.?
However, right here, right now "da List" is a good place to be.??

Tough to write that subject line. I was one of the 1st group on some 10 years
ago and the person who coined the term "Da List" in the 1st place.
It's been very difficult watching the demise of Showgsd-L...very difficult
indeed. Personal attacks have become common place and 1/2 or no truths have
fueled the fires of contempt and derision. Such actions have been "heart
breaking as well as personal"...
I will miss many of "Da Listers" and hope to maintain contact in the future.
I'm
as close as an email to discuss food, motion, and any other dog related
subject...even those doggy politics.
