[ SHOWGSD-L ] Golden Doodles

This was sent to me by a friend and I thought I'd pass it along. It is the
Golden Retriever Club of America attempting to address the "Doodle" issue.
Being a dog trainer and having trained literally dozens and dozens of Doodle
derivatives, and some NOT nice ones, I was amused by this. I found myself
exclaiming out loud "You go girl!" You can all imagine some of the inane
expectations and comments and statements by the uninformed owners being
allegedly
educated by the equally uneducated so-called breeders of their Labra and
Golden...doodles.
I think the GRCA Board wrote a good response on their website. This is the

I think, in light of the recent discussion about the Code of Ethics, and in
our looking for a way to
respond to people like the LaneShepherd man and others who advocate breeding
outside of the Standard,
this response from the GRCA is simply spectacular, and might be of use to us!
