I pulled my copy [copyright 1967] from the shelf. I haven't read it in
YEARS. Part of the spine is missing, courtesy of a LOVELY GS puppy. I'm
fascinated!! I read it cover to cover when I got into shepherds in 1971, bu=
t
I'd forgotten how interesting it is.
One thing that intrigued me -- shepherds from the EARLIEST photos are shown
stacked. Certainly not to the extent we stack them today, but stacked
nevertheless.=20
I think a worthwhile project is to read those "old" books again: The Dog in
Motion; Wyn Strickland's book, and so on. I still wonder how in the H*ll sh=
e
got all those males to pose for that photo.
