We have all had this kind of experience some worse than others like the one I
had. Emailed back my standard reply for those who love the look of police
dogs, and no I'm not breeding dogs to bite people so I cannot offer any
assistance in stud dog services. Next, I receive a couple of phone calls, same
person who really tries to sell me on his bitch. Politely try to educate and
close the convo. Next day, a car pulls up with a load of people and a dog.
Guess who? They all pile out and the person who was on the phone pretends that
we had never contacted met and that I didn't recognize his voice and begins all
over again. Meanwhile, they are trying to coax this terrified (very young)
female out of the back seat of their car and my dogs are barking to beat the
band. I put up my hands and said "look, I know I'm better than the zoo cause
I'm free! But, I already spoke with you last night, so please accept my
suggestions and reason why I cannot help you." At this point, the man started
to get irritated and demanding. So, I went into the kennel and pushed the
house bell and my husband came out. End of story.
Phew, there is always one that sticks with you.

Oh I sent an e-mail so sweet my back teeth hurt, suggested he become
involved w/ a local regional club, introduce himself and learn all he could
about our marvelous breed.
I also suggested he consider appropriate health checks before breeding his
girl...heard back "she's as strong as an ox"...it took all of my self
control not to respond "probably looks like one at 180-200 lbs." but I was
soooooooo good you all would have been proud!

I suggest that you go on a diet immediately. 180 - 200 pounds is much too
heavy for you unless you are 6'5". I also suggest that you go back to
school and learn the correct spelling of the word 'shepherd' and also the
meaning of the word so that in the future, you will not sound like an
ignoramus (is that too big a word) when you look for a German Shepherd
Dog.
I'm glad to hear that your GSD is full of blood, they do get a little wan
when they are down a pint.
Now, once you have completed the above, please take the time to go to an
AKC
or even a WDA show and see what a real German Shepherd Dog looks like.
Talk
to the owners of the dogs in the conformation, obedience, tracking,
herding
and agility classes about why their dogs look the way that they do and
learn
that form follows function. Then go home and take your female German
Sheppard and hug her tightly as you drive quickly to the veterinarian and
have her spayed . Once she has lived her allotted years, go to one of the
breeders that you met at one of the above events and tell her/him why you
want a GSD, what you want that GSD to do and perhaps you will be very
lucky
and that breeder may honour you with one of her pups.
But in the meantime, don't hold your breath.
