Gilley gaited his way to Select Excellent at this year's National. It had been
a great National up to then and it even got better. Christina Szparaga, his
co-breeder, owner and handler handled him to perfection. I couldn't have gotten
a better job anywhere from anybody. Gilley is sired by GV Ch Hickoryhill's Bull
Durham ROM, out of Ch Hey Looked Me Over of Edan ROM, who had the time of her
life in Parade of greats and mooching food off all her new found friends. I
also want to thank Eric and Joannie for telling me he had to go slow and easy.
60 laps in the huge practice ring before he even went in the ring was just the
trick. Lastly I want to thank Helen Franklin for recognizing this outstanding
side gaiter and going with an unknown handler. Earlier in the week
Muggle's kids were busy. Mmm Mmm Good of Edan went 2nd in a very tough large
BBE class. Thankyou Dan Smith for this award. Going 2nd to your beautiful
winner made us proud. Good to the Last Drop of
Edan went 2nd BBE Dog. I want to thank the fancy for finding him and
supporting him throughout the class. I don't think I have ever had more support
in a losing effort. Thank you. We were thrilled to have four in Rollin's stud
dog class. What a group of outstanding moivers, including the old boy himself.
