It was an honor for me to award Gilly, a "Select" rating at the Nationals in
2006, and a thrill to
again give him his Award of Excellence shortly thereafter. The total dog, the
Best of the Best.
My heart-felt condolences to his breeder/owner Ann, .....and to our breed.

t is with great sadness that I had to put my beloved AOE Select Ex Ch
echanical Bull of Edan, RN, TC, CHIC(Hips, elbows, heart,thyroid) ROM down on
onday. Late last summer I had started conditioning him for the Parade of Greats
nd noticed that he was lame. My vet did two weeks of laser treatments, then
ccupunture and instead of improving, he was worse. Upon further examination a
umor on his spine was discovered and he gave him two months at the most. He
idn't know Gilley. Gilley never lost his great attitude, until just a few days
go. He was the sire of 15 champions with very few champions bred to him. He
ill be remembered for his showmanship and beautiful sidegait and personality
lus, which he passed on to his progeny.
Gilley will never be forgottne as one of those few once in a lifetime dogs. He
