I must say that I am very proud of my plaques and they are on my dog wall with 
the photos.  This year was special as this was a girl from my own breeding 
program who placed 2nd out of 7 in a very quality class.  I have only shown 
GSD's in 3 futurities.  I got two second places with competition.  Not bad for 
a newbie.  

While I understand the financial issues, I also feel that keeping and getting 
people involved is critical to the breed.  Can costs be cut in other areas?  I 
don't know who picks up the tab for all this, but I have to wonder......  What 
does one do with those Ginormous rosettes from the Nationsals?  How do you 
display them?  Especially the GV/X rosettes?  Is it really necessary to have a 
6ft rosette?  Aren't there other ways to cut expenses?

Maybe the plaques could be sent later and engraved upon the idividual wins.  
Or, they could be generic, with a plate with the results sent later.  I would 
like to see the plaques remain.  We need more people and the pride of 
accomplishment is important to keep people involved.

With all the current club crap going on, I am seriously thinking of not 
continuing my PC membership.  This is only another con on my Pros/Cons list.
