In answer to the question about a check list for evaluating the dogs at a
show, the GSDCA has a DVD of the Judges seminar given by Dave Rinke. It is
very good and informative. But a shorten version might be what Dave
preaches: Does it look like a German Shepherd Dog, does it act like a
German Shepherd Dog and finally does it gait like a German Shepherd dog?
With these three guide lines and the Standard one should be ahead of the
game. Next, you should seek out a mentor and see if you are getting it
