Is anyone else concerned that we are looking at hosting a World Show, but
cant afford to give trophies at the Futurities ?

First of all, I coined the phrase "Making Wood" for the first time. It is
very different than "Getting Wood", that's an entire different thing.
I do agree it could be donated, and the Shepherd could be put on with a
lazer instead of something that is taped on and falls off. Also, we could
print the tabs at the show for placings, with plastic if metal is too
expensive.
Instead of giving up, I can't believe with 19 board members, someone
couldn't have come up with a cost saving measure that would not eliminate
the
trophies.
If you lose so much money on the Futurities and the National, just drop
them. Or, work to figure out why they are losing money and cure the
problem.
Not that there would be anything wrong with solving the problems.
