The white GSD topic is long overdue. I got the letter today about the breed
split. I really don't care. However, it may be more beneficial to the white
GSD people.
My Mom bred and showed Samoyeds. What many folks don't know is that Sammy's
have a black gene that goes back thousands of years. Today's Sammy's will have
a few black hairs in their coats and have a mottled skin color. White is not a
bad thing unless the white is so diluted that blue eyes and lack of pigment
take over.
If white GSD's want to split, more power to them. They sure don't get any love
here. JMHO
