Lee, would you tell us who the judge is, since you brought up the incident?
In fairness, Lee Brown has brought this up to someone imply I was dishonest
in my judging. He is talking about Patriot who I judged and gave a major to,
because he was the best dog on that day. The other dog that gave him a run
was Axel, who I did love, but was not mature then.
Some months later Tedi told me she and Jane Kerner were working out sending
Patriot out to stand at stud in California. I was surprised and pleased. I
doubt anyone would think Jane or Tedi would do anything unethical, and if they
think I would, so be it.
He is a joy to watch, and about as much fun to be around as any dog I can
remember. If you want to see a really fun dog, come by at Asgard, he is there
every day now. I thought everyone knew where he was, and I have never hid
him. He is too big to hide.
