I believe only a necropsy could determine if this was a genetic
disorder....did you have them done on both puppies? If you didn't, it is
kind of hard to diagnose anything genetic unless they were opened up and
examined for a true cause of death. How was this genetic defect determined?
I'm sorry for the loss of these puppies.
