Agree that gas prices are beginning to impact shows and showing. Went
to Ohio for a show and to make it more economical, took my Honda CRV
which gets 26 mpg but can fit ONE dog only. So, instead of multiple
entries, I only brought one. But, on the flip side, because I was
going such a long distance, I entered almost every day of a long
cluster of shows. So I can see where in the future shows may have to
group themselves into larger and larger clusters, so that exhibitors'
and handlers' transportation expenses are spread out and the cost per
show is minimized.
