Gary was one of the folks who also encouraged me when I was new. In Verna's
backyard when she played host to me and my Hanable. Gary admired Hanable
and came to ask me if he was "toothless" because he thought he should be
winning. At that time it was poor handlers and Gary asked to show him and
Helen Fischer said go for it and Hanable became a Champion despite all the
rotten comments sent our way because he wasn't extremely angulated. It was
Gary who found Starr and guaranteed with Hanable we would produce graet
dogs and that's why we have our Champions. If not for Gary and Verna I
never would have stayed showing. Thank the Good Lord for their kind of
people.
