My computer cut me off............smart little machine, eh?
This is a moving breed. They must have the stamina to work, and they must
be built correctly to last. Then they need to be able to discern what is
expected of them. And there should be no doubt you are looking at a GSD.
Function, structure, temperament and type.
No mention anywhere about racing around the ring. I am not convinced that
the "racing" dogs are exciting, I think sometimes the judges need to be
more assertive when instructing the handlers that when they want to see the
dogs on a lose lead and easy, they mean it.
All dogs have a "best" speed. It shows everything they have, and
sometimes racing them hides just that.
