It is with much sadness that we read tonight the letter from the
President of the GSDCA, Lew Bunch informing us of Gail's illness. She
has been and will remain in my prayers. We thank you Gail for all your
years of dedication to a magazine that you love and it showed in all the
fine work that you did. Your cheerful smile is left upon the pages of
all the Reviews from all those years ago, from the times that you showed
peoples dogs, the time that you used to write articles for the Review,
to pictures of you with your beautiful dogs that you owned and to your
picture on your editorial page. An icon they call you, and so you
are..........one who is remembered through all the years, now and
forever. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love
you poured upon the pages of our favorite magazine and we also thank you
for wanting to stay on to continue to help the magazine flourish once again.
May I say a personal note to you dear Gail in a public forum........I
thanked you all those years ago and I thank you once again
tonight........thank you for finishing my Am Sel #3 BOM International
Champion Chieftain's Kharu CD. Great handler, great editor, and to many
a great friend. May God bless you and keep you safe. With much
