I just received this from my service provider. I don't know if this is what
knocked the PC site down, but it seems possible. Maybe more will be on the
news.

"As you may already know, many of our customers' websites and email
services are currently down. This outage is due to an Internet outage that
is affecting many service providers and customers nationwide. This past
weekend, more than 200,000 web sites went offline when software that was
used to manage the services failed. We are aware of the issue and we are
working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
"Once the services are re-established and we have access to the servers, we
will be working to upgrade your account to new servers, using new software.
We apologize for the inconvenience this outage has caused."
