For those who have difficulty receiving Constant Contact; the following
notification was just sent to The Membership:
*To all German Shepherd Dog Club of America Members*
*The GSDCA board of directors is seeking your assistance in finding a
suitable venue to host the 2019 National Specialty, preferably in the
Western part of the nation.*
*We have held our most recent Nationals at Purina Farms, as we’re all
aware. This location has provided a wonderful venue that fully meets the
requirements of our largest annual event, is convenient to a large segment
of our membership, and importantly, has allowed our club to improve our
financial position. Our current contract ends with the 2018 specialty and
we have agreed that it’s now feasible to enjoy another location, provided a
suitable venue can be found. In that regard, our National Show Chair, Gail
Stiefferman, has prepared a comprehensive checklist that can be found

evaluating other locations. She and board member Linda Bankhead will begin
the search asap.*
*I know that many of you, particularly those of you living in the west, are
eager to see the National come your way. Please help us locate the right
location and we’ll do our best to make it happen!*
