This is one of the objectives intended for the new Legislation committee -
to maintain a database of legislators who are on the wrong side, and to
spread the word to dog and other animal folks at and prior to election time,
to potentially assist in defeating them, and also to spread the word to dog
and other animal folks of those on the right side, to encourage voters to
support them.

Following Lew's post (THANK YOU, LEW...no excuses now, people).....I would
like to start gathering information for the coming National, State,
County/city
elections. It is very difficult, I know, to get specific information
regarding incoming politicians, but if we can gather all the information
possible of
those that are in office NOW, and have a place to disseminate it, it would
give us a good idea of where our vote could go, right?
On the Peta site, we already have a good start of who NOT to vote for.
They've done our work there, and we can incorporate that. But let's go a
step
farther, and gain information on who TO vote for, that understands our
Animal
Cause.
