Hi Friends,
I need to set everyone's mind at ease that all of you will be receiving your
2007 membership cards in the next few days.
I could write a great story on all the setbacks for me with renewals this
year. The forms were perforated in the middle instead of in thirds. Two
weeks delay. Tthe gal who was stuffing the notices got called into work.
When she did work she put about 30 forms in backwards with no addresses
showing. Those returned renewals sat at the post office for a month. I am
sending out extensions for renewing to those returned.
We had a terrible storm here with power outage for 4+ days when I took a day
off to input data. My email could not be downloaded and filled the mailbox.
No phone, although messages could be left and filled my voice mail. I
receive 400-500 spam messages generated from gsdca at local host.com. The
club printer jams with card stock every few pages.
Blah, blah...but rest assured that I am here getting things done. I have
added a new email address ghardcastle@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Be assured that
everyone's dues will be here and will be on time. My apologies for the
change in my usually good service. I can't do anything but shake my head
and keep working. I will be home tomorrow if anyone needs to call.
