Unfortunately when you have to make the hard
decisions (some that have been very unpopular) its for the continuation of

club.
Some of those "hard" decisions this year are not so easy to swallow....the
3 consecutive year contract rather was that which broke the camels back.
Allowing dogs with disqualifying faults to win the GSDCA's top
awards....guess one of the worst of those hard decisions.
Forming a class for dogs with a minor fault (but still a fault folks) right
up there with hard decisions.
All based on financial decisions, gaining more members (just how many did
this bring in anyway??) more entries and so on.
I totally get for survival you must get a game plan best for the club.
Someone said the board cannot always think of the members. Huh??
Without the members there is not club, without their dogs there is no
purpose.
Hard decisions need to be made to support the mission of the club and the
overall support of the members. No one will ever be totally happy, but there
are ways to look as though you are trying.
The board MUST be reduced.....too much has been spent on traveling about
the country with too many people. Although I realize reducing it can make
it a harder nut to crack.........
With all the board meetings next year being face to face instead of any
telephone meetings, again there is even more costs to absorb.
And then there is 2013............
