Ballots MUST be Revised, Re-sent and Re-voted
One of the current Board members on the ballot (Nancy Harper) is
ineligible to run for the Board again due to length of time on the Board.
The length of time a member may serve on the Board is limited by our
Bylaws in Section 5 (A)
The AKC has determined that the ballot sent out
last week, therefore, is an invalid ballot and must be redone. If you
have already sent your ballot in, it will NOT be counted and will be destroyed.
If you haven't sent it in, please
dispose of it yourself.
New ballots will be sent out next Friday on different color paper. The
motion to reduce the size of the Board has been clarified. The deadline
has been extended to October 6 but please return it as soon as possible,
particularly our Canadian and foreign members, so we can make sure your
ballots are included.
