Excellent ideas Julie !!!!
The idea of giving memberships as trial trophies in the performance venues is
outstanding as many performance enthusiasts see the GSDCA as a 'conformation'
club offering little of value to the performance enthusiast even though they
have no true experience with it. Unfortunantly I also know of long-time
performance exhibitors and even judges who dropped their memberships in the PC
because they saw so little gain for their expenditure. That's an individual
evaluation that we can't control but we can at least offer the chance to
experience
PC membership with some of Julie's ideas.
The WDA draws the 'working dog' enthusiasts but not always those in the other
performance venues.
