Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] GSD on the run in IL
I have a friend whose 9 month old female escaped from the yard on March 23.
This is in Millington, IL. The dog has been hanging out about 2 miles from
home, on a farm and in a sub-division. The owner has been trying to catch this
girl ever since but the dog is not coming any closer than 200 feet of any
person. They have tried taking the other house dogs out there in hopes she
would come to see them but she isn't cooperating. Flyers have been put up all
over the area and people are calling upon seeing he so It is not a matter of
finding her at this point.
AC will not help and the owner has even contacted local wildlife trappers but no
one can help.
Any other suggestions on how to catch this girl before she gets hit by a car?
