Excuse me --- Peggy --- I, for one, did NOT take Ellen's post as showing
that she
has limited vision concerning this issue. JUST a realistic one. WE, as
identified,
responsible breeders -- and everyone else CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH AS
INDIVIDUALS AND/OR GROUPS AS WELL, I MIGHT ADD!!
Everywhere on this earth there are SOME LIVES needing HELP!! IF someone
helps them, fine, but if not, yes, it IS sad, as Ellen said. I do not
feel, as you do,
that people in general, do nothing simply because "Oh, it isn't MY breed."
Few and far between, in my humble opinion; but then, thatsa me, and we all
do

Gee...I must have been labouring under the delusion that ALL dogs were of
concern to responsible breeders... gee, how altrusitic I must be!
On the other hand, I do know that part of the reason we are having to
face all this stinking anti-dog legislation is because there are people out
there who STILL say "Oh, it isn't MY breed."
How limited is your vision, anyway?
