One of my dogs years ago chased his tail. It happened when he was 6 or 7 mos. A friend's daughter was playing with him and pulled his tail a little and then he just started doing this chasing it in circles. He did get lots of exercise, but didn't bite his tail raw or anything.   Many years later he was having anal gland problems - infections. It got to the point where we had his anal glands removed and since then he never chased his tail again. So I guess don't rule out anal gland problems too. LuAnn ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2011.
