GEEEEEEZZZZZZ!!!
I am a breeder judge that shows in the All Breeds....
I show in the AB because that is where I like to play.....
that is where I 'grew up' in dogs...back in the 60's.
I show in the AB because as a Group Judge, I like to be
visible to the folks with other other herding breeds....they like to know
their judges.
I have judged MANY specialties, in both the USA and Canada.
I judge GSD frequently at All Breed shows........I judge the entire Herding
Group.
Dogs that I have given wins to, or BOB's, have gone on to Selects at the
National...
whether I have judged them at a specialty or in the AB ring.
Please tell me why it is necessary to try to put everyone in a 'little box'
and
label them. To suggest that I cannot appreciate a 'specialty' dog is more
than a little insulting.
BTW, the champion I just retired, (Ch. Bedkar's Obsession) was a Top Ten
GSD for 2 years, an AOE winner at the 2003 AKC/Eukanuba and a specialty BOB
winner.
That is the kind of GSD this breeder judge wants.
