That is probably true of some, and then,too, there are specialty breeder
judges who haven't a clue, However those on this list such as Bill
Gish,Helen Gleason,Peggy Mickleson, Michel Chaloux, Sue Godek,Barbara Amidon,
Joan Fox, Cathleen Steen, Lee Brown, and I, I seriously doubt would be looking
for AB style dogs. This list simply identifies judges who judge a group or
more (most clubs will hire only judges who have at least one group) and
originated in GSDs. The purpose of this list was to give people some names
to take to
their ab club's judges' selection chair and ask that they hire judges on
this list. People complain about the ab judges, but I'll bet few know that
the judges I named above judge many breeds at the ab shows. The ab
clubs don't know about them either so it's up to us to get these names of
judges who know our breed to the clubs. Most clubs don't care who they
hire as long as that judge can do at least one group, but you have to give
them a name.
