Sally, we all prefer German shepherds, or we wouldn't be on this list,
right ? Your attitude (not you) is too elitist for the good of the breed.
We need good judges who know shepherds. Most KCs can no longer
hire a judge for only one breed. Therefore, to get knowledgeable judges
into the ab ring, the "specialists" need to be approved for more breeds.
You could make a difference in the "two different breeds" syndrome.

not interested. He could not believe it. I like many other specialists am
completed devoted to German Shepherds. Many of us have no desire to add
other breeds to our license. We don't want to spend our week ends at all
breed shows judging other breeds. We don't want to be on the road traveling
all the time. Now getting paid once in a while to judge might be nice rather
then taking money out of my own pocket when I judge but not if I have spend
the day with other breeds. Guess I am not a true DOG person but a German
Shepherd person.
