Gretchen arrived this morning and is an absolutely sweetie. She has some problems that will be addressed by the vet on Tuesday....mainly a large grapefruit sized tumor/cyst on her leg. She had a chest xray and HW testing before she left the shelter and all was great so hopefully an easy surgery will fix her and make her feel better. I do believe she is almost deaf....she doesn't react to sounds or the other dogs barking. Last Hope, Safe Haven for GSDs may need some extra medical funds for her and I will know more on Monday. I am hoping the vet will accept payments towards her surgery. I will let everyone know on Tuesday. But rest assured, she is safe, her eyes are clear and bright but I know she is absolutely weary from her long trip but this will be her home for as long as she wants to be here:-) Pat Lukos Sarava German Shepherds ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2007.
