Forwarded from the "Lists.": Sent: Wednesday, October 20, 2010 9:11 PM On one of my breed lists, a dog breeder in GA, has her 2nd litter for the year. She posted it on her website. Within days a Georgia Dept of Agriculture agent contacted her & told her she needed a $100 license & property to be inspected yearly. Rules can be found here. <http://www.files.georgia.gov/AGR/Files/Georgia%20Animal%20Protection% <http://www.files.georgia.gov/AGR/Files/Georgia%20Animal%20Protection %25> 20Rules.pdf> Having more than one litter in a year in GA makes you a "pet dealer" Their law has been around for many years. It's just recently that breeders are being chased down. Is the state broke? or are animal rights activists keeping tract of breeders websites? ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2010.
