The link didn't work for some reason. Here is the email I received regarding

Dear colleagues,
Do you share our frustration with the lack of treatment options for
degenerative myelopathy (DM)? As you may know, DM is a model for human
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). We are fortunate to work with ALS
researchers at UMass Medical School who have given us a new option. They have
developed a gene therapy product which is ready for clinical testing in canine
patients with DM. The study, Adeno-Associated Vector Mediated SOD1 Gene
Silencing Therapy in Naturally Occurring Canine Degenerative
Myelopathy<http://tufts.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=59bb7d7b78b861108b3b57fa1&id=497916359b&e=76e7ce6377>,
seeks to explore the therapeutic benefits of gene therapy.
We ask that you refer patients whom have been diagnosed with DM to the
Neurology
Service<http://tufts.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=59bb7d7b78b861108b3b57fa1&id=bb046c3af5&e=76e7ce6377>

for potential participation in this study. A dedicated dog owner can benefit
from the generous support of this study which includes all costs for a
confirmed case. We have included an owner information sheet outlining the
details of the study, and appreciate your support in distributing the
information to pet owners. If you have a question about a particular case for
referral for this study, please send us a message to neuro@xxxxxxxxx or call
Kellye St. John at 508-887-4839.
