September and October kick off AKC's Responsible Dog Ownership Days all
across the country. The list seems to grow longer each year and this year
is no exception in Texas.
Since RPOA is an All-Species organization, we're holding our annual
"Responsible Pet Ownership Day" from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm Sunday,
September 11th, at a new location this year.
Bluebonnet Bunk N Biscuit, 16302 North IH 35, in Selma, TX.
San Antonio Kennel Club, one of RPOA's most loyal supporters, will be
holding an AKC "B" Match as part of our day's activities. Pre-Entry $8 --
On Site Entry $10 taken from 8:00 - 10:00 am. Judging begins at 10:30 am.
Pre-entry Contact: Robert Stein 210-725-0661, needed by 9/9 at 6:00 PM.
Flyball Demonstration begins at 2:00 p.m. Hourly Door Prize Drawings
Raffle for gift cards. Vaccination Clinic from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Pet Costume
Contest 12:00 Noon.
Saturday, September 10th, Abilene Kennel Club hosts a 5K Run Benefit plus
other activities in Abilene's Festival Gardens..
Heart of Texas Labrador Retriever Club has Agility, Hunting, Obedience,
Tricks and Freestyle scheduled in Austin on Saturday.
