That is exactly what I am talking about. How can you truthfully breed your
male dog to a bitch without people knowing that he indeed has light eyes and
therefore the progeny may inherit these eyes and the bitch's owner is
wondering why.
To me that is altering, plain and simple. I am really surprised that this
showed up on this list. How many of you are doing this?

In both cases you are altering (changing) the actual color. Enhancing. If
you were to stop feeding this to the dog, would the eyes go back to yellow?
Wouldn't the progeny tend to have lighter eyes or yellow eyes behind them?
Would you disclose the fact that they were darker only because of what you
fed them? If this was a pet, not to be bred or shown, no problem, however if
this is breeding stock or showable dogs, then why would you do this?
