They just don't understand, not only the safety issue, but that most dogs like their crates. You're not kidding, Beryl! My mother and sister drove up for a visit once and saw our 4 month old puppy in his crate. After returning home, they told everyone in the family how cruel we are to keep a dog locked in a little "cage" all the time. (The pup was locked in his crate for sleeping and eating only.) No amount of persuasion could convince my family that a crate trained dog views it's crate as a safe haven. I'm surprised my family hasn't sicced PETA on us. <VBG> Paulette ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2007.
